All air sampling performed by TRAC are UKAS accredited which ensures conformity to ISo/IEC17025:2017 and are carried out in accordance with HSE guidance including HSG248 Asbestos: The analysts’ guide for sampling, analysis and clearance procedures and in-house procedures.
Air monitoring paperwork and certification are completed using handheld tablets and printed from the mobile laboratory therefore copies can be left on site for both the building manager and the contractor if required. Additional copies are provided to our clients through our in-house Asbestos Management Portal.
In addition, we have a dedicated analytical team offering a fast response service, 24 hours a day, all year round.
Our qualified asbestos analysts all hold the internationally recognised BOHS proficiency modules BOHS P403 and P404, and they are trained under our in-house UKAS ISO 17025 accredited procedure for both Asbestos Air Sampling and Asbestos Fibre Counting.
Furthermore, our consultants are routinely audited in line with UKAS accreditation requirements and participate in the Regular Interlaboratory Counting Exchange (RICE) Scheme administered and managed by the HSL in which we maintain Category 1 status.
